Greeting Card – King Island Emu


From a body of work ilustrating extinct Australian animals. The extinction of the King Island Emu is believed to have been caused by excessive hunting for food by early seal-hunters who used specially-trained dogs to catch and kill the birds.

Watercolour, gouache, acrylic, collage and hand carved stamps.

Designed and made in our home on the traditional land of the Gundungurra and Darug people in the Blue Mountains NSW. Packaged with love for you and the planet with no plastic involved! Greeting cards are size A6 (when folded approx. 14.5 x 10.5cm) and are printed on 100% post consumer waste recycled paper and sent with a 100% post consumer waste recycled paper brown envelope.
