From a body of work ilustrating extinct Australian animals. The extinction of the King Island Emu is believed to have been caused by excessive hunting for food by early seal-hunters who used specially-trained dogs to catch and kill the birds.

Watercolour, gouache, acrylic, collage and hand carved stamps.

Designed and made in our home on the traditional land of the Gundungurra and Darug people in the Blue Mountains NSW. Packaged with love for you and the planet with no plastic involved! Our fine art prints are printed on 290gsm archival Hahnemühle Bamboo paper using archival quality inks.
