Unlock your creative potential and dive into the world of watercolour painting with our comprehensive two-session workshop. Designed for both beginners and those looking to refine their skills, this workshop will guide you through the fundamentals of watercolour art.

These workshops are run by me, Lauren Gero the artist behind To The Trees. I have over 10 years of experience with watercolour and have taught this usually sold out workshop many times over the past 4 years.

We’ll enjoy a cozy time together in the beautiful workshop space of Landslide Gallery run by the creative community behind Fire and Flood in Wentworth Falls NSW. As the workshop runs over dinner time soup and bread will be provided for us to share a meal together, included in the cost.

Workshop Details:

• Session One: Friday 19th July 3 hours 5.30 – 8.30
  • Explore colour theory and learn how to mix watercolours
  • Create your own colour wheel
  • Understand consistency and value with the paints
• Session Two: Friday 26th July, 3 hours
  • Master various watercolour techniques with practice sessions
  • Create a range of swatches showcasing different watercolour techniques
  • Apply your new skills on illustration colouring sheets featuring feathers and gum leaves

Materials Provided: We provide all necessary materials for the workshop, though they are not to be taken home. Just bring your enthusiasm and a willingness to learn! You can purchase a kit to take home to continue your practice here.
